What are Nadis?

Nadi translates from the Sanskrit word नाडी, and it means tube, channel or vein.

The Nadi circuit is the subtle counterpart of the blood vessel circuit in the physical body. The Nadis pass through the entire body, creating an energy network that includes all the organs and energy centres.

The Egyptians recorded about 125.000 Nadis; this figure may vary from tradition to tradition.

What are Ida, Pingala and Sushumna Nadi ?

Ida, Pingala and Sushumna are the three main Nadis that distribute energy through the entire pranic network.

These channels are located in the spine and pass through each Chakra.

Accidents, poorly performed surgery, an unbalanced diet and an unhealthy lifestyle often affect the health of the Nadis.

Stress and anxiety also affect the quality of circulation of prana in the body, creating and producing etheric waste.
