About Me

Welcome! I’m Maria, a therapist, coach, and founder of Psychoenergetic Work®. My journey into the world of therapy began when I was 21 in Rome, and it has been a continuous path of exploration and learning ever since.

From a young age, I have been fascinated by human behaviour and the emotional and spiritual connections that bind us, my passion for understanding the complexities of the human experience stems from a lifelong curiosity about the unconscious mind, behaviours, and the unresolved patterns that can hold us back.

Growing up, I was often bullied and labelled; I often felt different—misunderstood, devalued, and silenced. These early experiences ignited a desire within me to understand myself and others more deeply.

My passion for self-exploration and well-being has led me to dedicate my life to helping others navigate their own journeys alongside my own self-exploration path.

Investing in self-exploration and well-being is the best choice I have ever made, and that's why my focus is on educating people on the importance of having appropriate and dedicated spaces to unfold their inner world.

Why I Do What I Do

My motivation stems from personal experiences, particularly my dysfunctional relationship with my father followed by his loss. His journey, marked by illness (cancer) and emotional turmoil, sparked a deep curiosity within me about the nature of health, illness, and the human experience.

This experience was not just a turning point in my life; it became the foundation for my work. I spent over 20 years engaged in ongoing research, studies, and self-therapy, exploring how we often repress our inner feelings, especially when we struggle to express them to others. This quest for understanding has shaped my approach to therapy, allowing me to connect with clients on a deep, empathetic level.

I believe that every challenge we face has the potential to become a transformative and healing balm, allowing our Selves and Humanity to evolve.

Through my work, I aspire to empower others to explore their own shadows, navigate their emotional landscapes, and uncover their true selves. My mission is to create a supportive environment that fosters self-awareness and healing, guiding individuals on their journey toward self-discovery and growth.

Every encounter is an energetic agreement between souls.

My path was illuminated when I met my first spiritual teachers, Bernard Rouch and Carla Sbardella who taught me an old sacred healing modality (Egyptian/Essene Therapies and Aura Reading) and guided me toward my life's purpose.

Throughout my professional journey, I also have had the privilege of working with neurodiverse children in private (Steiner), public schools and nurseries, using creative interventions and mindful tools to support their development and emotional regulation.

This experience has profoundly shaped my understanding of the mind and has enriched my life.

Self-exploration and my innate curiosity have changed the script of my life and allowed me to empower myself in ways I could never have imagined. The beauty of this path lies in the layers you get to unfold and navigate through as you walk.

This journey never ends, and it never should…

My Previous Life… an Artistic Journey.

Before embarking on my path in therapy, I was immersed in the world of music as an artist. From a young age, I felt a deep connection to music, beginning my journey as a singer at just five years old and starting to write and produce my own songs by the age of fifteen.

Throughout my career, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with renowned international artists like Montell Jordan and Regina Rogers, and I participated in popular television shows both in Italy, such as X Factor and Saranno Famosi, and in the USA on Good Morning Atlanta. My work earned me features in various magazines and radio stations, and I proudly produced two albums.

I've graced numerous stages, including the iconic Rock Café, among many others. My time as an artist was immensely fulfilling, revealing to me that music was a powerful conduit for connecting with my soul and addressing my human needs.

In addition to music, I have a strong passion for painting and began creating soul paintings at a young age. This form of expression has been integrated into my work as a means of channeling messages for others embarking on their journeys of self-discovery. While I currently have limited time to offer this work, I look forward to reintegrating soul painting into my therapeutic practice in the future.

Music and art taught me the profound power of expression, lessons I now weave into my therapeutic practice. I recognize the healing potential in sharing our stories and emotions, and I incorporate sound and creative interventions into my work, fostering a rich environment for exploration and healing.
