Terms & Condition

At the beginning of our work together, a formal contract will be created to ensure that we are both on the same page regarding our commitments and that we don't expect each other to be or do something outside these terms. The contract will be sent before delivering the service and needs to be signed by both parties within 48 hours.

Essential things to know:

1. We are not a crisis service or replacement for medical treatment.

We are not a crisis or medical service. If you have an emotional crisis, please call NHS 111 for non-emergency advice. If you think you might harm yourself or someone else, please contact the Samaritans on 116 123, ring 999, or go straight to A&E.

Psychoenergetic Work does not diagnose conditions, prescribe or perform medical treatment, prescribe substances, or interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. It does not replace medical care but can complement any medical or psychological care you may receive.

2. Code of ethics and data protection.

Your personal information will be kept confidential. The coach will be the only person with access to the information. The data will be kept for no longer than 6 months after the end of the contractual relationship.

Everything discussed within the sessions remains confidential. However, we may have to break this confidentiality if you show intent to harm yourself or others seriously or if you have committed a serious crime or show intent to.

Suppose you miss a session without notice after discussing a difficult situation. In that case, the counsellor/coach may get in touch to ensure you're OK using the email address and phone number you gave us, including the emergency contact. We will never tell your employer or anyone else if this happens unless you ask us to.

3. Don’t expect advice from our service or to tell you what to do.

Psychoenergetic work is not advice. We can't tell you how to live your life. We offer guidance, support and suggestions to help you find and tap into your resources and to find your answers.

4. We don’t offer “out of sessions” support.

We only provide support within the time frame we agreed upon. Extra support can be discussed and arranged independently if need it.

5. We need you to cancel within 48 hours.

Both our times are valuable; last-minute cancellations mean lost therapy sessions - for you, your therapist, and anyone who could have used that session instead. This is why we need at least 48 hours notice if you can't attend your session, and then you can reschedule the session for another time.  Late cancellations or late arrivals for the session count as used.

6. Prepare for the 121 sessions.

You're responsible for finding a private and safe space for all session duration, where you can speak freely and will not be interrupted. You also need to ensure a good internet connection, as poor internet connections may affect the quality of your session and a working microphone and camera.

7. Our mission is to provide a high-quality service.

Our therapists are insured and practice under UK law. If your Legal action must be raised in a UK court if you are based in a different country, we hope it will never get to this. If you need clarification, have any questions, or want to give us feedback, email us at info@mariapareo.co.uk We will respond as soon as possible. If you wish to raise a concern or complaint about the service, please email info@mariapareo.co.uk privately and securely. We begin a full investigation for any report sent to this email address.

8. Refund policy.

If you cancel a session via email at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment, you will receive a full refund. For discounted bundles, refunds will be issued after applying the standard session fee (depending on session costs) to any sessions already used. Please note that any bundle or sessions purchased in advance must be used within a 6-month period from the purchase date.

Diversity and Inclusion:

Our work celebrates multiple approaches and points of view in which everyone deserves to be seen, welcomed and valued without judgment or exclusion. We welcome and value all differences, including race, gender, sexual orientation, generation, religion, disabilities and personal beliefs.
