Why Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is the key to unlocking the door to your inner and creative world, where dreams are born and healing begins. It's so much more than just relaxation; it's a powerful tool for nurturing your mind, body, and soul.

We often turn to hypnosis as a last resort; I know it because I've made the same mistake. After years of therapy, from which I benefited immensely, I found myself at a crossroads, and the tools I had at my disposal this time weren't working.

After many years of research, I finally came across hypnotherapy, and In a few sessions, something profoundly shifted inside me; I regained control of my life, and I was able to gain profound insight into my journey. I felt much lighter, joyful and connected to myself than ever.

Inner Child Hypnotherapy Work

Inner Child Work

Inner child work focuses on healing and addressing the emotional wounds and unresolved issues from one's childhood. It recognises that our experiences and interactions during our early years can significantly impact our emotional well-being, how we relate to ourselves and others and patterns of behaviour in adulthood.

Who is this for?

Anyone looking to understand and resolve past adverse experiences, bringing more clarity, love and compassion in their inner world.

This process can lead to profound healing, personal growth, and improved emotional well-being, offering you a brighter and more fulfilling future.

Inner child work is a personal and sensitive process. It may bring up intense emotions and memories, so it's essential to approach it with care. Your experiences and feelings are supported, respected and understood in this journey of healing and self-discovery.

Past Life Regression and Regression

PLR & Regression

Past-life regression (PLR) and regression are techniques that aim to access and explore a person's past memories and experiences from previous times or incarnations. PLR aims to gain insights and understanding about present-life challenges, relationships, and patterns. By exploring issues from past times, you can find peace, better awareness, and a more profound sense of self.

Who is this for?

Anyone experiencing relational conflicts or deep blockages whose causes seem unknown and difficult to understand. You may be experiencing physical or emotional symptoms that have no medical explanation, going through a challenging relationship or situation and finding it to let it go or break a dysfunctional pattern, or you feel curious about your past selves and wish to explore past experiences.

The concept of past lives and reincarnation is not universally accepted or scientifically proven. PLR is often approached as a form of therapy or personal exploration within certain spiritual or alternative belief systems.

hypnotherapy and Parts Work

IFS & Parts Work

Parts Work Therapy, or Internal Family Systems (IFS), is an integrative approach that focuses on the different parts or aspects of an individual's personality or psyche. It explains how internal parts can have different beliefs, emotions, ways of behaving and desires that can sometimes conflict, leading to inner turmoil and distress.

Who is this for?

Anyone experiencing inner conflicts, struggling to understand or embrace specific parts of themselves and wishing to learn to negotiate between different needs and inner aspects. Every part has a purpose, and understanding where they came from can help regain balance and a sense of wholeness rather than feeling fragmented and led by specific parts. Through negotiation and communication between parts, individuals can experience inner reconciliation, integration, harmony and peace.

Parts work suggests that certain parts of the psyche take on protective roles to shield the individual from pain or trauma while other parts hold unresolved emotions or traumatic memories. The Protectors can manifest as behaviours or thought patterns to maintain control or avoid vulnerability.

Non-negotiables:

Dedicating time and space to practice and follow through with homework after sessions is essential to support the integration and embodiment of what we explore and work on during sessions. Sixty-six days is the minimum needed for your body and mind to consolidate your new ways. Homework is tailored to your needs and available time.

Guarantee

I will be your guide and mentor at every step. I guarantee my genuine presence and honest commitment. Most of my clients shared that, in a short time, they have noticed an increase in self-awareness and significant changes in their relationships. They could quickly see when a dysfunctional pattern played out and developed better presence, personal boundaries, emotional regulation, acceptance, focus, direction, and confidence.

FAQs

  • Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that utilises hypnosis to help individuals achieve a state of focused relaxation, allowing them to access their subconscious mind and make positive changes in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Hypnosis is a natural state you enter many times a day. It means your subconscious mind is in a focused state of attention. Hypnosis relaxes your conscious mind allowing for beneficial suggestions to enter your unconscious mind to make the changes you desire. It is a pleasant feeling and is completely safe with no side effects.

  • Hypnotherapy works by inducing a trance-like state through relaxation techniques and guided imagery. In this state, the conscious mind becomes relaxed, allowing the subconscious mind to become more receptive to suggestions and therapeutic interventions.

  • Hypnotherapy can be used to treat a variety of conditions, including anxiety, phobias, smoking cessation, weight management, stress, insomnia, inner child, chronic pain, and self-esteem issues. It can also be used as an adjunct to traditional therapy for a range of psychological and emotional issues.

  • Yes, hypnotherapy is safe when practiced by a qualified and experienced hypnotherapist. It is a non-invasive and drug-free therapy. However, it's important to ensure that you work with a certified professional to ensure proper guidance and safety.

  • Most people can be hypnotised to some degree. However, the depth and effectiveness of hypnosis may vary from person to person. Factors such as willingness, belief, and the skill of the hypnotherapist can influence the level of hypnotic trance that can be achieved.

  • No, hypnosis does not involve losing control or being unconscious. You remain aware of your surroundings and are in control of your thoughts and actions. Hypnosis is a state of focused attention where you are deeply relaxed but still able to respond to the hypnotherapist's suggestions.

  • No. You are in control at all times and can come out at any time you wish.

  • The duration of a hypnotherapy session can vary but is typically around 60 to 90 minutes. The number of sessions required depends on the individual and the specific issue being addressed. Some concerns may require only a few sessions, while others may require more extensive treatment.

  • While hypnotherapy can be highly effective for many individuals, it does not guarantee specific outcomes. Results can vary depending on the individual's motivation, receptiveness to hypnosis, and the nature of the issue being addressed. A skilled hypnotherapist will work with you to set realistic goals and maximize the potential for positive change.

  • Yes, self-hypnosis techniques can be learned and used at home for relaxation and self-improvement. However, it is recommended to initially work with a trained hypnotherapist who can guide you and teach you the techniques. This will ensure you have a solid foundation and understand how to effectively use self-hypnosis for your specific goals.

  • With the integrated techniques that I use, you will feel better from the first session. A few sessions can replace weeks, months or years of therapy. Please book a free 15 minute consultation so I can advise you for your specific requirements.

  • Trust is absolutely key. The content of your sessions and personal details are strictly confidential and you can have complete confidence.

  • This is an important frequently asked question about hypnosis because you want to know what to expect. In the first session we will have a discussion about you, your life and the reason you are here.

Sometimes we won’t even discuss much at all and get straight into change work so you leave your first session feeling different. Many of my clients have had CBT or counselling previously and it had helped in understanding things but they want to feel significantly different.

This is the whole premise of my work; to change how you feel and give you techniques to manage your emotions for life.

In subsequent sessions we will release issues and unhelpful emotions so that your life can be better. Your future well-being is my priority and sometimes you will find yourself releasing emotions that you have carried for a long time.

I may provide you with Hypnotic recordings to listen to at home to support your treatment.

When your course of sessions has finished, you will find yourself feeling very different about things and will find it easier to relax whenever you need to.

Being relaxed puts you in control, helps you make better decisions and manage your emotions
