Recognising Dysfunctional Patterns

Relational trauma refers to the emotional, psychological, and sometimes physical impact caused by repeated dysfunctional or adverse interactions and experiences within relationships, creating specific behaviours, emotional responses and (limiting) self-beliefs in our lives. This type of trauma can deeply influence our sense of safety, security, and well-being, creating patterns and toxic cycles that we tend to follow and repeat during life and within relationships, including the one with self.

Cultivating Awareness and Self Knowledge can lead to positive and lasting changes.

As we consciously observe and better understand personal, family and societal patterns, we can recognise how ongoing exposure to dysfunctional dynamics can lead to unhappiness, isolation, lack of authenticity and confusion.
