Growing through challenges collectively.

What is Group Therapy?

Group therapy happens when a small group of people meet regularly under the guidance of a therapist or facilitator to discuss and explore personal issues and life’s challenges. The emotional container and environment offered support, active listening, and active participation while learning from others facing similar circumstances.

During group therapy, specific issues or topics are explored; the programme involves educational tools and resources and different therapeutic techniques, from counselling skills to embodiment, CBT, parts work role-playing, Inner child work and group discussion.

Each session is designed to provide knowledge and essential information to increase understanding of internal and relational dynamics; the sessions will also provide practical tools that can be used independently to support emotional independence.

During sessions, the facilitator will encourage participants to explore themselves openly and with curiosity while actively listening, communicating authentically, and gaining more profound knowledge of “self” and life’s events. These goals might relate to improving specific behaviours, communication, managing emotions more effectively, and developing better relationships.

Through the shared experience, participants may find that emotional healing is not just a solitary process but one that can be enriched through mutual support and empathy.
